Orenda is an advisory practice built on a single conviction: that the quality of thinking at the top of an organisation shapes everything below it. We work with boards and executive teams across Africa to close the gap between what an organisation is and what it could become.
That conviction rests on a simple idea. Systemic leadership drives organisational alignment, and aligned organisations consistently outperform their peers, innovating faster, learning continuously, and compounding their growth. Building that alignment, at every level and not just the top, is the work we do.
Known as the Mwalimu, the teacher who brings clarity and simplicity to those navigating their most demanding environments, he works with executive teams at the point where big decisions meet real-world friction: stalled systems, misaligned organisations, and the gap between what is possible and what is actually moving.
He brings nearly two decades of executive leadership to this work, including as Chief Operating Officer of Airports Company South Africa, a faculty role at Henley Business School Africa, and the founding of Orenda Advisory & Strategy.
His work is rooted in one belief: that lasting change comes not from external direction, but from building an organisation’s own capacity to align, adapt, and lead itself. Every engagement is structured to build that internal capacity, not dependency.
